The Ons Tuis Piet Potgieter home in Mokopane today launched a hunting competition.
One lucky hunter or lover of venison stands a chance to win a hunting or game package in cooperation with game farmers in Limpopo. The Piet Potgieter home for the elderly will apply the proceeds of the competition for the continued quality care of its residents.
The hunting package valued at R8 500 includes a blue wildebeest, blesbok and impala. Non-hunters can win the meat of one of four impalas.
“Our home is under financial pressure because we cannot host fundraising activities during the lockdown period,” says Mrs Mariana van Tonder, the manager of Ons Tuis Piet Potgieter. “Since we are in the hunting and game area, we thought this competition would be the ideal opportunity to raise funds, while still protecting our residents.
“We are very thankful to the farmers from Limpopo who donated these prizes so that we can take proper care of the needs of our elderly.”
Tickets for the competition is available at this link at R200 per ticket. There is no limit on the number of tickets per person. The competition closes on 30 June 2020.
